lgbtDB is set up to be able to act as an ontology, providing formal reasoning capabilities when exported. This allows for more advanced querying of the data within lgbtDB and sets it apart from many other databases that utilize Wikibase, such as Wikidata. For example, an entity in Wikidata can be both a class and an instance, whereas in lgbtDB (and most other ontologies), an entity has to be either a class or an instance. For this reason, you will find that there are certain "duplicated" entities on lgbtDB, wherein one is represented as a class and one as an instance. This is by design, so pleae do not delete these entities!
