Ongoing Tasks

Formalization

• Currently (as of 11 April 2025) we are working to detangle SKOS- and OWL-mapped entities to allow for a larger degree of formalization within the vocabulary; this make take some time but it should ultimately make terms at lgbtDB much more usable in the context of a vocabulary and as an ontology (in progress)

Prior Wikis

• Add all content from previous lgbtDB instance hosted at Yale University (in progress)
• Add all content from TransPedia instance hosted by Miraheze (in progress)

Adding Resources

• We are making a huge push to include resources from multiple bibliographies in many languages. See here for the main bibliographic index and please start adding and annotating sources!

• Add all terms from These Words Are Disappearing in the New Trump Administration using U.S. government flagged term (2025), and for similar lists for term on list to be removed from any CDC-authored manuscript (2025), term to be banned on NSA websites and internal network pages (2025), word flagged in search of current NSF Awards (2025), and ascribed DEI category (for P1053, it should not only be added to individual terms but all individual grants in the "database" (i.e. spreadsheet document) represented here
